Ocean Beach Online Academy
The Ocean Beach Online Academy is a 6-12 online school for the residents of the Ocean Beach School District. The online middle and high school uses curriculum from Edmentum.
In the Online School, parents serve as Learning Coaches for their children. Curriculum, pacing, assessment, and instruction are virtual; however, there are frequent activities that typically use common household items where students engage in learning off-line. Ocean Beach School District teachers monitor learning, set goals for students, assess student's work, and tutor and support students as needed.
