About the Ocean Beach Options Academy

Charting each student's individual course to success.

In the Ocean Beach School District, we know that one-size does not fit all students and all families when it comes to education. With that in mind, we have tried to create a variety of options for parents and students. All of these options are part of the Ocean Beach Options Academy (OBOA). We offer the following programs to try to meet the needs of our families.

Ocean Beach Online Academy - A fully online 6-12 school for students who reside in the Ocean Beach School District.
Ocean Beach Alternative School - A personalized learning school with small community of learners. The alternative school is available for students in grades 6-12.
Ocean Beach Graduation Alliance Dropout Reengagement Program - the Grad Alliance program meets once a week at an off-site location. A local advocate supports the students. Online mentors, tutors, and supports are available. This program is for 11th and 12th grade students who are credit deficient or have other barriers to completing their education.
